Patrick has said in a podcast that it was a bad idea to port CMD to the PS4 and Xbone as they couldnt really handle the game and a lot of things had to be scaled back, I doubt the switch would run CMD wery well at all.

They have no more money to port the game properly and if they did have some money left, it would have been a better ideea to distance themselves as much as possible from reincarnation and max damage and develop something sure to get them back some revenue.

Ideally, they would have made a new carmageddon game just for the switch, where they could have taken the original carmageddon 1 or 2 games and give one of them a face lift. By face lift I don't mean better textures and light but also better car models and a bit more sphisticated buildings and props but not to the extent done in reincarnation.

Something of an in-between the original carma 1 and reincarnation's level of detail would have sufficed.

Thanks for the info guys.

Yea, I wouldn't mind a carmageddon 2 ish (let's call it carma 2.5) in the switch.

Yeah, the porting had a really negative effect on the game. Would like to check that podcast out, how is it called?

Here it is for those interested, the carmageddon stuff is a bit towards the end but its interesting non the less

Take note how the kickstarter budget was less than 10% of what it cost to make the game, hope that gives at least some people some perspective
