I'm so happy for Stainless! They got their license back a few years ago and released a new game in the series that they created, so congratulations! A lot of us have been playing reincarnation for a long time now. So what do you love or loath about the final version (Reincarnation to Max Damage?)
Changes
Favorite:
The way the camera pulls back when you are at high speeds and comes closer as you slowdown is great
Some cars, like Scarlett's, would really fuck with the depth of field effect and blur the path in front of you. Camera angles have been fixed to correct this
The new vehicles fit right in
Improved foliage is transformative for me
A.I seems WAY more aggressive now in objective game modes (not so much on normal, but they are dogs on hard)
Time of day and weather effects are a real improvement and make career feel a lot better
The point stealing on/off message at the start of races
I run off SSD so the load times were never unbearable, but they are very short now
Vehicles with trailers are a cool addition
Car handling seems to have the right mix of losing control, like a real sports car, and staying on course. Might be in my head, but it feels better now. Maybe I'm just so good now ;)
Least Favorite:
No car headlight shadows (may be a bug since the options are still in the menu)
I'm indifferent to the lighter tone of the blood, but looking at old screenshots I've taken it seems the splatter on the cars was chunkier and had more depth
It seems like there is less gib variation (not sure about this though). I think it used to have more bones and guts, but now it seems more like generic chunks

I don't think that it's the best change, but the way your headlights light up the foliage in darker day times in Bleak city is fucking orgasmic. I've been wrecked in mp because my attention was spent looking at the damn grass.

The best is loading levels now. Music playing good and without freezes. Pedestrians behave like the C2.

how now you can realy push cars in front of you, instead of going over or under it.
Least favorite change:
Plow's spoon articulation is lame in the way it is done.
Plow model has amazingally made pneumatic or hydraulic system of pistens and cables that were made with proper funtionality to actually lift the spon with all the parts that suppose to be moving, moving.
BUT due to technical limiations of the game it self it was not possible to use that tech porn. And so instead of leaving it static . visually firm and sturdy. Spoon magically moves attached on two hinges, it looks fragile =/

For me it's how graphics are a blurry mess whereas C:R was looking more crisp, high definition. I like the new effects though.

@twisted I think that's because of some misadjustments on Post-FX or motion blur. I've disabled motion blur and the game is C:R levels of crispness.
