Yeah it's pretty nice that they seem to work out of the box, although they seem to need a very small fix so the engines are renamed to C:MD's new ones, and maybe set the positions for the in-car cams in the vehicle cfg and it should be good. :)

I feel like I should point out that the Eagle Mk. 3 and the Hawk Mk. 2 are impossible to install on Max Damage since they're still in .ZAD format.

Yes, i've unZADed the Hawk mk2 and Eagle mk3 mods to work more naturally with carMODgeddon, the rest of my mods should just work fine with C:MD

You probably need to change the names of the sounds for them to work. Also if the cars have an interior, an in-car camera to be added to the vehicle_setup.cfg.

Some of the materials have also changed like there is a new material for glass. The cars may work fine but they need tweaks no question about it.

The engine sounds used by the monsterbug (camaro) & carrerasaur (maserati) have been renamed in C:MD (now drag & Euro_V8 respectively), hence the need to update the files. There are lots of other smaller elements that can be updated, as Alex has already mentioned, things like:

  • Material changes

  • Defining the offset for the in car camera

  • Garage camera offset

  • Trailer hitches, for if you want a custom hitch point or to hitch up to something other than a camper/caravan

  • Trailer_maps, for if you want the vehicle to spawn with a trailer

  • Car class declaration for MP

There's probably a few other things that I can't remember of the top of my head. Over the weekend, I will try to put together an update guide, detailing all of the 'new' features that you can make use of.

I dont think Minge has been updated for C:MD yet, you have to enter the car ZIP and rim ZIP names manually in your carMODgeddon.lua file (it's basically a text file, you can open it with a text editor like notepad)

i created this file and entered all cars and wheels. that's why i wonder what is wrong in carmodgeddon mode. maybe lua should be not in the carmodgeddon folder?

oh i see why the damn things won't work - they are all not in vehicles and wheels folders just all in carmodgeddon folder. i think this is the issue thanks. i guess this should be strictly mentioned prior install!
