Removing objects in PT2

Post by Razor »

Did a quick search, didn't bring back anything significant so excuse me if this has been mentioned before but I appear to be unable to remove objects in PT2.

Vehicle in question is TTR's Rage Lion (which I'm turning into Tres Hombres from TDR,) anyway, I open up the .SDF file and select an object then go Object > Remove > Click 'yes' on the pop-up window and I get the following error:

Aborting closes PT2, Retry crashes PT2 and Ignore leaves everything unaffected.

Edit > Cut does nothing either, I'm pretty sure the model is fine as I've already modified it but I'm just unable to remove objects.

Quick solutions?

EDIT: I'm using original PT2, not cesm's (win7)

EDIT2: Sorted it by using cesm's VB6 macros PT2 build (this one does work in win7)

A tad late but... rotate the object before hitting delete. I always use the delete key rather than the menu, don't know if this matters. Giving it a little spin first prevents the crash though.
