Just about finished my Baja project (1970 Beetle Baja):

Started on my 1971 VW Bus project (just got a new engine in it, 1904cc):

But, I drive daily (or, whenever I need to go somewhere, which isnt a lot):

2010 Ford Fuzion Hybrid (it replaced my gas guzzling 2007 Nissan Murano).

The wife has:

2006 Mitsubishi Raider.

Here are my build woklog of the baja:

And worklog of the bus:

I'm loving the fact that a lot of your cars would fit well in Carmageddon!

Here's my Elise on track:

And after a nice, wintery drive through Yorkshire:

I'm currently rebuilding the engine in this Rover Coupe so that it can take over daily duties:

I have a super normal 53 plate (UK) Nissan Micra. I hate the look of it, it's too 'bubbly' but I was given it by my father who had bought a new car, and my old M-Reg Micra had died.

Yeah. it needs to look more evil, then bubbly and cute. Judging by your car's plate you are from UK?

It would take a lot of work to make a Micra look evil :-P

I've been looking at pics of the headlights, needs something like 'eyebrows' like '\ /' that. grill needs teeth. Then we can all drive to IOW and have photos taken with Stainless crew who will no doubt add our cars because they love them so much! hehe. *dream on*

And I still don't know how to fix it. I think every time I change the batteries the settings reset but that doesn't make any sense. But neither does Samsung.

I recently traded in my Explorer for something a bit more gas-friendly, a Mazda5. No pics for now. Nothing special about it, just something to tool the kids around.

I just got to say it because this dosent happen much at other places.

Its awsome how well everyones getting along here, usually if a car topic starts up there will be people who identify themselves with what car they own jumping in and yelling about.. how ford sucks, and ford owners who say gm sucks, and then the german car people say there both wrong then someone who owns a japanese car says There wrong.. and before you know it were in a flame war about who owns the best car. And this is whats so awsome about this comunity.. very few problems.. every once in a while one will show but its mostly smooth.

Heh I guess Im just feeling soft now o.o

So in short, enjoy your cars and lets all get along :P Just wanted to say that since this is the msot awsome, problem free car topic Ive seen, Taste acceptence!

I really like to see all the members/fans crazy cars!

Maybe the Carma-crew even pick some out for the game.

I am going to sell my familywagon, it has problems with the pistons...

I don't know what to buy else, maybe an other brand of car... Mitsubishi quality or an Ford fiesta...

Man, I would buy that, if not for three things: I'm broke, I live in a different country to you, and I can't drive.

Hey JuggNuttz.

What is that in the back of the truck?

Is it just carpet?

Or is it sound deadening material?

I am starting on my 1970 VW Bus project, and there is a 'booming' noise inside when I drive it.

The previous owner had covered most of the floor, and a few side sections, with some thin foam/aluminum sheets stuff. but it doesnt work that well at keeping the road noise, nor the 'booming' effect at bay.

Just looking at alternatives.

Thanks.

its called Bedrug http://www.bedrug.com/ made for truck beds. much nicer than the typical hard plastic drop ins, as it wont mar the paint under it, and isnt permanent like the spray in, and easier on the knees whn climing in and out. i doubt they have anything specific for you, but if you contact them, they might be able to sell you sheets of it?? worse they can do is say no, or ask a stupidly large ammount you say no too... its like a foam rubber mat with carpet.

I used to drive the world's most amazing, hitech, luxury, state-of-the-art cars on the planet. It was one of these:

A box on wheels. A Fiat Cinquecento. No power steering, no electric windows or seats, no sunroof, no central locking, no speakers or radio, no nothing. It did a pretty tidy MPG, which was good, but almost exactly the same number for it's max MPH, which was less good. Once drove it down to Cardiff to see a Judas Priest gig. With me and three friends in the car, two who weren't exactly small, the car struggled badly. Like, the slightest upwards incline would make the speed plummet. On the way back we had a whole queue of traffic behind us, honking their horns at me because I wasn't even going 30mph and they were obviously impatient. I just laughed, though, as there was absolutely nothing I could do about it. My foot was nailing the pedal to the floor just to keep it from going any slower!

Sold it to a friend a while ago though, yay! But now I'm carless, boo.
