Is TDR2000 coming to steam?

No. Stainless didn't made it, and they hate it so propably no. I'm not sure if they even own rights for it, though I think they own. I still hope they make it available some way. If not sell it then make it Freeware so we can share it legally.

Does TDR 2000 belongs to Stainless? Since they bought everything related to the Carmageddon brand, but does it include previous software, even if not made by them?

In the last stream, he did the same teasing thing he did when he used to get asked about C2 coming to steam. It's still not confirmed - he could just be fucking with everyone.

You're dead right there! It could back fire on them releasing TDR 2000 before C:R. Since I hope Carmageddon continues to live on, they need to be careful with this kind of action

Very low chances although ugliness of art, designs, ugly textures and gloomy world adds a lot to atmosphere of this game, but at the same time altered physics/damage system and gameplay (3 missions and 3 races per group WTF!) is the very reason why people dislike that game, as biggest crime being Carma name attached to non-carma game.

My issues with the game is :

Driving modele is too streamined and incorages non stunt type driving.

Running over peds was a waste of time and the game never rewarded you much for it.

Racing was incoraged racing over anything else.

Timer to limited for fun.

Repetetif sound in the background

(SUBJECTIF) Terrible horrible ear-killing ''music''

embarasing recking physics.

Cars felt stuck to the ground

The things I liked

Police

Some of the maps

How they rendered blood , it looked cool.

The Eagle-3

The option to unistale the game

I'm with you on that one, if they brought out TDR2000 for steam it would bring back nostalgia from playing it in a LAN match with my family when I was younger, if they brought it to steam i'm sure alot of people would play it simply because of the multiplayer.

I just want to point out that the eagle 3 was in carmageddon.

Seems like TDR dosent really have a folowing at all, The intro had zombies that was enough for its fate to be sealed with me..

No but, really, an apoc world with knight rider, cars from mad max, and a transparent three wheeled contraption that made sexual moaning sounds insted of an engine. Dident really feel all that carmageddon.

But apart from that it's tolerable game. Without timelimit and annoying ambient sound it can be decent game. Not Carmageddon but still playable.

My suggestion is if they release it in Steam, name should be Total Destruction Racing 2000 or TDR2000 and so that no one made the mistake of thinking it's Carmageddon, description should state it is not made by Stainless, not part of canon and it's not in any way related to Carmageddon.

Total Destruction Racing 2000 is just good enough a title, we even called it that because "Carmageddon" didn't mean anything to it.

The CWA Board
