Hi there, have you tried to mod your TDR install? Or maybe apply a patch such as the NBP patch or US minipatch?
It is a known error but I can't recall the solution, searching through the CWA archives might help.
What you could try first is installing the MAX-Pack over your current install, it might fix the faulty text file:

If I'm not mistaken, that's the Send In The Sharks error.
Can you try the following?
Can you try the following?
If it doesn't help, could you write down that error message along with its error codes etc.?Someone on CWA wrote:I had the same problem that I couldn't start 2nd level. On TDR2000 setup menu I removed Mip Filter option under advanced display properties. After this everything goes perfect. I'll inform if I'll have problems in future.

The images are indeed private.
Could you also edit the topic title back to TDR DirectX Errors?
It will make it easier for other users to find this topic.

Exception: (cant read its blured)
Direct X and other errors
when you say blurd, after the exception hows it blurd ? is the game over riding the screencapture ? is it not in a box ?.
Display mode could be to do with how high or how off the display drivers or the way it trys to do say full screen..

Well then you'll have to give us yet more informations then:
When does this happen, at the very start of the game, at a certain race/mission, etc.?
Do both errors occur at the same time and absolutely everytime or are these random crashes?
Could you have a try at setting TDR2000.exe compatibility mode to Win XP SP3 with "run as administrator" checked? (in the right-clic/properties/compatibility menu)
It might be necessary to re-run the setup mode to find the display etc.
