Hi guys,
So back in September I was in our first ever car crash on the road, our car got written off and I got a busted finger.
My right hand/fingers still ache like a bastard whenever they're in use, and over the past couple of days I've been playing a fair bit of C2 and was cursing the game's inability to re-bind the movement keys to WASD as it was hurting like hell playing the game on the numpad.
But of course following a quick Google, the community came to my aid - specifically QTZ, whose Carma Key Binder I quickly located on the CWA Board and which allowed me to set everything up as I needed. Thanks QTZ!
I was playing C2 because of a request from a French publisher, who have someone writing a book on the history of video games and wanted a screenshot of C2. But now I'm hooked again and I'm going to have to play it right through for the millionth time. I just love those missions. ;D (But DAMN the fact you can get wasted and lose events sucks!)
Anyway, Merry Christmas one and all - and thanks again to all the modding community, I'll be trawling through this forum for C2 mods to play over the holiday!

Confirmed: Next Carmageddon game will be entirely mission based with no classic carma events. Click here to read more.nobby wrote:I just love those missions.

I liked the missions actually.
What I did not like is how you had to do them to progress as they are hard.
However as a bonus/challenge they are awesome and I do feel that something like that would be nice in CMD or the next Carma.
I loved being able to be wasted in C2 , in fact I think its one of the best parts of the game.
Maybe a mode for CMD or the next Carma called ''Competitive Carma'' could be added , you have fail when you die with zero or less cash (same for the NPCs)
and the goal would be to be the one with the most credits at the end
Anyway , merry Carmass and have great holidays

Hey Tonrac,
No, it's not those Pixel 'n' Love guys. This is an outfit called "Le Seuil".

I liked the mission, they were really difficult though, but they was something extraordianry and some story could be told by using them :] Also it was nice to get to gt to the next tier of events after finnaly beating the mission, there was a challange.
Getting wasted was really good, I play this carma like that still, but I allrady said that many times:]

Hope you have a quick recovery Nobby!
And yes, C2's missions were AWESOME! Pure awesomeness. Don't know why people hated them so much. They provided some sort of a backstory, an extra motivation to move on and an extra layer of Max's character. He wasn't just there to wreck cars and kill peds, He was there to destroy something bigger.
Anyway Merry Christmas to all!
Oh and pleeeeeeeease release Carmageddon TDR 2000 on GOG. PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEASE??

Damn, it should really say something when a typical driver should be more afraid of interacting with random Sunday drivers than with a developer of a car crushing game. Glad to know your first ever crash wasn't very serious!
Hey, I can tell that this requirement was obviously not in place at the time Shane came in, but nowadays, if somebody wants to join the dev team, what's the right answer they should give to the interview question "Did you enjoy the C2 missions?"
