Was this a potential naming lawsuit dodge by Stainless?
I always remember him as OK Stimpson, obviously, or I wouldn't have even brought this up!

Yeah, IIRC he was renamed Juicy Jones for the American release, and the bloodstains on his T-shirt were recoloured orange, because the OJ Simpson case was still a bit raw there.
