That's right! We'll be let out of the cupboard for a few days at the end of the month, and motoring up to Earls Court to show the world our conversion of the original Carmageddon, working on all the iThings!

Im going! Woop woop. Its gonna be my first ever expo & it looks like I'm going alone but fuck it. I'm well up for a chinwag with the Stainless team. I'l be there on the Thursday. Look out for a short arse wearing a splatter bonus shirt :)

shane i hope you keep us posted on whats goin on down there. and maybe think about doing a live stream of types would be nice team together and enjoying them selfs for a change :P

I don't think we'll be doing a live stream, but I'll certainly be taking some photos of what we get up to!

Damn!!! There is a problem in the Turkish pasaport services, you have to wait several weeks to get a pasaport because of that! So I missed it! I was coming to the UK! I would have been in Kensington High St. by the time of the expo!! AARRRGH.

Theres a android version aswell, as been pointed out lotsa times before, both in this thread as on other threads and kickstarter.

Im wondering though, can we get a estimate on when kickstarter backers get their mobile version? thanks.

Right next to the press area? Maybe you could get Sim, Nobby and Batwick to divert/kidnap all the journalists to the Stainless booth and making them report nothing but Carmageddon news :D

Just wondering Shane, will you have a variety of devices to play on at the expo? I plan to have the game running on my iPod Touch 4G & my Galaxy Nexus phone. I don't wanna have to play it on a tablet on the day because then when I play it on my own devices it will be all small & lame lol.

Also will you have 3rd party game pads available so I can try them out with the game. I'm very tempted to buy a game pad so I can play this game properly. Proper games require proper buttons.

We will be taking a variety of phones and tablets. Also we will only have the controls built into the game, touch, tilt etc (no 3rd party game pads).

Well they are realy excited to bring us Carmageddon Mobile/Tabbed, but they can't give us a release date yet, though it will be soon. OR they are keeping it secret from us! Good job doing it guys. Still checking my app-market/google play store every day!

Haha yeah the car looks awesome. Its a shame I can't upload pics directly from my phone as I've already got some good ones of Die Anna & Val Hella in front of the car :) That's Sim & I forget the other girls name (sorry!).

The cue is absolutely epic so I'm in a side street smoking a dooby. I'll try to keep everyone updated on my activities throughout the day :)

It would be nice if you could get some pics of the expo. I'm from Brazil and it would be kind-a expensive to go there. So some pictures would help us "feel" what the mobile version feels like.

For the record, I bought a Galaxy just 'cause of Carmageddon.

No worries I'll post pics when I get home tonight. Currently I'm having a time out from gaming, I've had mcdonalds for lunch & now I'm back down that side street smoking another joint lol.

So far its been great. Sim & Tina escorted me to the Stainless booth where I chatted to Nobby, Batwick & another coder, didn't catch his name. I was showered with various bumper stickers & then sat down to play. The game is everything I had hoped for with the exception of one thing. There is no wheelspin button! This is a pretty big omission for me as I'm always using it. Nobby did say that if lots of people want the wheelspin button back then they will patch it into the game. Hopefully I'm not alone in missing it. Nobby also confirmed that the release date for C:R will have to be pushed back but i think we all knew that would be the case. I told him to take as long as it needs. Finally, he mentioned that Stainless are looking at getting more funding from investors following the success of the kickstarter. That means things like the console releases will come sooner so all good :)

Time to head back in!

Sounds like the app's gonna be a great release, even if the wheelspin button is abscent. Also, I'd rather they didn't rush C:R. If a push back is needed then it's probably for the best, even if we have to grin and bear it.
