The official target is Q3 2012, which in financial terms is from July up until September, and considering the video that was posted by the guys at Stainless, it's not miles off from being ready.

It would be nice to get the list of supported Android devices. I happened to visit the local mobile phone shop just after hearing about the mobile Carmageddon... And the salesman got me to buy a Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 (Android 3.1, update to 4.0 coming up). And I'm actually pretty sure I wouldn't have been so easily swayed, if the hope of playing Carma on a tab hadn't been on the back of my mind. :-D

cool. is the Galaxy Tab the one that's a big phone, but a small tab? something like a 5" screen? I have the HTC One X and that runs GTA3 smoothly enough, so Carma shouldn't be too much of a problem, other than draining the battery. I can see myself just about to win a race and the battery dying!

No it's an actual tab, 8.9" like in the name. I think Galaxy Note (5" phone) is the one you are thinking. But yeah, I guess I'll just entertain myself with Death Rally and GTA3 in the meantime... :)

That's the one, yeah sorry for the confusion. I have yet to play with the wonders of a Tab, but the One X is quite happy playing games, saw a mate play Shadowgun on his OneX, that looked awesome.

No, we can't. No-one knows. "Soon" is the most likely answer you'd get from the guys at Stainless. Everyone will be made aware of the release anyway, closer to the date.

Looking foreward to this, for my multiple Android devices, Samsung Nexus, and Toshiba Tablet(Thrive if your in the states)I'm interested in the port as well as I am an Android developer(well currently hobby hope to make it more in the near future) Hopefully it will work on all my devices :) Should keep me busy at least until the actual game arrives :D

My Galaxy S2 taught me to go back to HTC. Shame... I'm a big fan of Samsung TVs.

But I'll be playing this on my S2 'til my contract comes around for renewal.
