Pause in game when music change

Post by LuckyMike »

Sometimes Everytime when the music track changes it will cause a small but noticeable pause in gameplay.

I copied the game to SSD, but nothing changes. The game also stops when it change the music track, pause only become less on SSD.

Somebody got rid of this problem?

Great you got this figured out. :) I'm experiencing short freezes as well and tried your solution, but I must've put the folder in the wrong place as I had no voice and music anymore after doing so. ^^* Could you point out more precise where it has to be placed? In the main C:R directory or within "ZAD_AUDIO"? Many thanks in advance!

Ok step by step

Open the game folder

Open folder ZAD_AUDIO.

Open file Audio_Music.zad with unpack utility.

Unpack zad file directly to the main game folder.
Rename filename extension of Audio_Music.zad. This is important otherwise will not work.

You can move Audio_Music.zad to another place for backup or just delete it.

Now you can, for example remove the tracks with electronic music from the game, simply by editing the playlist.

Thanks so much for the guide! I'll try it again this way. Now I know my mistake was leaving it in the native folder.
