So, is there really going to be a list with 15,000+ names of all the kickstarters in the game?

I'm really curious how they're going to do that.

I doubt they will be putting all 15 thousand names into the actual game credits, perhaps they will feature the people with larger donations (2000+ or something) the rest will probably be mentioned on the website.

I'd imagine they can get a list of all the backers from kickstarter and just paste it in.

All they have to do is have a Kickstarter section in the menu that a person can select if they want to see all the names. That way they're not all in the end credits but still there.

Hi all, first post. Been a fan since Carmageddon 1, enjoyed all the games, especially 2. I know this is a bit of a thread bump, but I did a quick search and this seemed the most appropriate thread to ask my questions.

Are Paypal backers going to be credited on the website?

I'm sorry, there's no context for what you presumably copy-pasted. Where did you get that from? I can't even find it with google. "Special thanks" isn't very conclusive either. Surely someone in staff knows whether this has been decided upon?

I don't want to be a pain in the ass. It's just that I am a huge Carmageddon fan and I would be over the moon if my name was in the game. I know a few people who would probably become Paypal supporters if their names could be in the game too. Long time Carmageddon fans I used to play C2 at lan parties with.

Dosent seem like too much, games I finish nowdays the credits roll for like 10 munits so. yeah

also because I dident pay 15 bucks at the time I dont get mentioned Aww :P Buut, having a kickstart section, or. Credits section you can choose to view does seem the best way in my personal opinion.

He's saying all the names should be in constant paragraph (like on the existing Backers Credits page on the site) rather than each person on a single line, which would take about a year to scroll through ;)

...I thought they meant how their name was misspelled. It's meant to be "Gorege", not "Gorge". Maybe it's something else entirely.

What about an option where all the pedestrians randomly have the name of a backer? Like written on their back or holding a sign with the name on it!

Well after looking at the credits in the alpha, yes it's pretty much one big block with thousands of names, haha. Though I don't see how else they would do it.
