That looks fantastic Pip. I was always a tiny bit disappointed with the hawk in C2, but you've definitely re-made it to look loads better  You seem to have knack for picking the right cars for these remakes!

Edit: Just tried it out as player and opponent and each time it gets wasted it crashes the game for me. Straight to desktop, no specific C2 error just a generic, windows 7 "you're game has stopped working" error. Any ideas? Not had this on any other cars recently.

@Fuel: Hi, I tested and tested this thing, but It didn't crash the game for me so I am a little lost for words.

Thanks Coffey for comments and hosting.

Another great car to add to my collection. Cheers Pip

On a side note, the Hawk 3 remake has only crashed once more since I mentioned it and I've used it many times now. It wasn't even close to being wasted either. It's a bit weird. It's not something I can duplicate either. It's stable enough for me to keep it

Well! Everyone is entitled to there opinion, and as I wrote in the read me file of the Buggerati, "this isn't everybody's cup of tea" obviously it isn't Maxine's: But she isn't the only person to Love Carmageddon and many people have different tastes. Personally I do not like the Bugatti Veyron, I think it is quite VULGAR but to have one in game with a blade and some flames I thought would be fun. And please Maxine, take a deep breath my friend because I have not finished converting yet.

Well uh, its not so much the car its the kinda culture that folows it around ruining games and all.. but ya I had a bad time last night and thru to the early hours. so I guess all I got to say back to this is,

Sorry Pip,

I wasent targeting you our or nothin this is just the car that brakes me.. heh your awsome at modling cars, and converting, and texturing.. I just dont like the cars you do most of the time o.o dident mean to cause no kinda offence or nothing here I just allways worry about carmageddon becoming another GTA, with 15 diffrent ports of a veyron and no cars for anybody of other taste.. but I guess we have plenty of cars for all tastes..

So I guess its just.. make whatever you want and not what other people want? is what I get told, so ya.. Peace with pip.. This is what happens when I have a bad day,

And the rest of you?.. well you know if you like me or not heh,

also Last point. I hope thsi car is not tough as hell too <.<

You did not offend me so there is no need for an apology. Actually glad you said what you did, otherwise I might get carried away with converting too much.

Hee hee, I love the grabbers. Can they have their own C shaped BBox to catch peds?
Not articulated, just something for the peds to get stuck in? Just thinking out loud. :yingyang:

Well that was the idea, but as soon as I make a more complex box for the front I get the "wheels outside all shapes" message
but it works with just a simple box around the grabbers, so I am:confused:

Oh yeah, the bounding boxes cause a lot of problems. I too noticed that if one box works fine it is never guaranteed that adding another box won't do any harm. The game must be doing something with the combination of boxes for some reason. In general, it is trial and error :(

I know, doesn't it drive you crazy? Heh. Half the time when I get it to work, I'm not sure what I did to fix it.
What about a BBox that is a single thin slab, like the blade on a forklift? If it's below the wheel center does it give the error?

Okay, so I made a very thin BBox for the lower grabber and kept pushing the angle down towards the front until I thought it would be safe and guess what? It bloody works: So BIG wet kisses to you Coffey

Looking awesome. Kinda reminds me of another car, but I'm having trouble thinking of it.. the colour scheme is definitely reminding me of something. Was it the cop car in TDR that looked similar? :investigate: Anyhoo, looking forward to snatching up some peds with that

Yeah TDR cop car is blue with yellow stripes. TTR made one for C2

Pip also made another blue cop car

@fuel: As Coffey said, I previously made a blue and yellow police car called the Enforcer and yes I got the Idea for the colour scheme from TTR's cop car from TDR. So as a continuation of the theme I decided blue and yellow was the way to go. Oh! also that this will also be called the Enforcer 2 might have something to do with it too, But unlike the previous Enforcer this car (what is left of it is a conversion from another game)
