Always think it will never happen to you...
Hi CarmaFreaks...
I bet you thought i'd vanished off the face of the earth, i've been doing that a lot lately. The truth is my father has been seriously i'll (think i mentioned before), but after several "fix" operations things were not getting better over time. Turns out, it's the very first simple routine operation that caused all of the remaining problems, an infection: MRSA
Maybe some of you have heard of this, it's a bug or "super bug" that you can catch from hospitals if you have open wounds that it can get into. On the 11th of last month unfortunately he died, so as you can appreciate i haven't been much in the mood to be going on the internet or working on the big carmageddon 2 multiplayer project. It was unexpected, since he pulled through every operation, but it was the infection that nobody bothered to treat that eventually killed him after what we predict is 4 years (to the day that he had the first operation). Actually it's bloody amazing how he ever lasted that long. At least he is not suffering now though.
It's took about month to just get back into to life itself, and i'm just literally starting to get back on the old computer. I've spent a day or two fixing some of the bugs with my site and making it visually seamless. The C2O site is currently down while it's integrated with the new fancy design. Tomorrow, work will resume on C2O however, and in approximately 2 weeks i will be testing what could be a release candidate.
Sorry for not being around to answer any questions or keep you informed about the C2O project, if you've PM'ed me i'll redirect you to this thread to save writing it all again
my site is at www.tdr2k.gamingsource.net incase anyone didn't know already
James.

Geez, that sounds terrible. But, yeah, like you said about how he lasted and not suffering.
I was beginning to worry, cause I've seen so many large projects like this just suddenly stop and disapear. Nice to know your back.

You have my deepest sympathy dude. You'll be ok. On with life. Keep looking forward and not back.
Good to hear you're still on this project. I have been following this one very intently. I thought it had disappeared. Don't over do it though. Take as much time as you need.
