sorry for this loooong absence, but for the moment, I'm not able to do anything, and I'm not sure that in the future I'll be able to anything more. It was just to tell you that I'm not dead :p

as you can see, i stopped all my projects. I don't really feel like if i had my place here (as i arrived in a community which was already well and strongly built), so if anyone of you want to finish the truck, or astrana or la siegel, just tell me it ;)

Does the C:R board seem like an insular, unwelcoming community? I hope not :S

To be honest, Halogaland, I felt at first like all the CWA peeps already had their community. People like yourself, Toshiba, Razor, Coffey, Maxine all already seemed to know each other pretty well. Despite being aware of CWA I never joined because I'm not into the mod scene, so the only person I particularly knew when I joined this board was Espyo, since we're both on the wiki. I feel like in the time since, the 'veterans' of the Carmageddon community scene have been welcoming. It's a shame to hear you feel like you don't have a place here :(

I think the Arlington Dragster was your best work.

Original model and there were no dragsters in the game (well except Vlad) which made it real fun to drive.

BTW though, is there a camera mod by chance just so you can pull back the camera further away from the vehicle? as sometimes i cant see where im going xD!

You'll just have to modify the camra's offset. Open th .txt of the vehicle, and change it, close to ground or high away, just choose ^^

Those only change the bumper and cockpit views not the exterior view.

You'll need to just use your arrow keys to move the camera.

Well thats what i mean, its so big even pulling it back just tilts it up to far, i need something where it pulls in back first THEN up lol.

just to give some news! Well I've not done anything, since... a really long time :o, for carma and even trackmania. Holiday is coming, and I'll probably restart something ^^, but only probably.

Hey Hal :), long time no see!

Do you remember your "Big Dump" concept?? Man...I'D LOVE IT SO MUCH to see you finish it with improved textures for C2 AND MAYBE even Re-incarnation when it fully releases and we get to mod it :D, possibly closer to the original render colour scheme: https://www.flickr.com/photos/98913857@N00/3923424168/in/set-72157608026494295

That, and maybe take on doing some of the guys other stuff, the HotRod and red faction style tanks would be so cool, maybe for a future project for re-incarnation where you can ofc use better textures, and maybe even match it colours wise! C2 or Reincarnation, either or, i'd love to see your work again :).
