Looking for some old cars that the old folks might remember :)

Post by -[ Raven-X ]- »

Heya, seeing i've returned, i was wondering if perhaps people could suplly me some cars/skins i did back then.. Links online seem dead sadly.

those are the main 2 i remember.

I still have a bunch of the old models i did with others on my drive. But lost a few. I also have some unfinished projects from then if some people might care and would like to finish them

The biggest lost/unfinished project is this:

based on very early "drawings" of C2:

I'm pretty sure that both cars you are looking for are available at wasted, but since when at polygonized all hell broke loose the script of the page doesn't work... you can contact n3wton and I'm sure he'll give you a direct link to the cars.

I do still have the plane myself. Even a better version that should be for download there.

I'm just looking for those other 2 vehicles, and perhaps someone willing to finish the plane

Links from DTD are dead as something dead can be.. Don't know the links to all those other sites anymore

Probably 'DonDump', as it was created to replace his car/thing was it not?

I have it on CD here, if you can't get it anywhere else, Rave...

Also, what do you need finishing on birdy? - I seem to remember his axle fucking up when you turned, or something... Was that ever fixed?

Birdy went into a kind of "Beta-testing release" stage, and was never worked on after that (I think) - You can pick it up on some cah-razy site... I think it might've been DTD, lemme check...

I am mistaken! - It is on crashocalypse, hither:

<EDIT> Oh, you weren't actually looking for it, so nevermind... Just ignore me, it's my first day back at uni and it's toooo early. I've only had one lecture so far and my brain has already melted... </EDIT>

And if people actually looked at the posts /under/ the topic, they would have realised that I had posted the link and then withdrew it because he wasn't looking for it...

Yeh, your right, I'm not in search of it. I've got it and still use it. Also, it is unfinished.

I want to get his permission to mess with it and to see if he has tiffs and an obj file, as it doesn't come with any.

He doesn't have the tifs for it, and I doubt he has the obj as he was looking for them himself...

If you want to skin it, you could open the model up in pt2, and take screenshots of the materials... All of them would be 32*32, but it's better than nothing...

Ah, ok, there's an idea.

Or I could just completely reskin it!

I don't realy need the obj file, as the dat opens up nicely in CarEd, just without the texturing(not that there would be any without the tiffs).
