Achievements

I like achievements :)
Just because they're there, doesn't mean you have to use them or try and get them. I don't see what harm having them in there is.
The only downside they sometimes carry is that you need to get achievements to unlock certain things, but that's more of a console move the...

How extend Carmageddon playlist?

Can't you just use winamp or something in the background?

Or is this for mod purposes?

What sort of stuff will be in the store?

You could probably do a quick custom job on a round dustbin to make it look like one of the C2 power-up bins

Environmental damage?

Howdy,

Naturally, weapons are a no-no. Though where does this put you with regards to environmental damage from the map?
We saw some of this in C2 with petrol stations acting as bomb-powerups, though this could be extended further to create a bit more interaction with the setting.
<...

Modifications

You complain about the support for modding in the previous games, but in comparison to other games, the carma bunch are incredibly open. Especially nowadays where 'modding' tends to translate to total conversions, rather than the odd thing here and there. (Ignoring TF2 ;P)

I'm not sure wher...

'A Trip Down Memory Lane'

My memory of Carmageddon comes from the modding at the time. Most kids get told off for looking at porn. I got told off for using the net for downloading as many ~300kb cars as I could before getting rumbled.

The Cars

Just remembered trailers.

So it would be nice if we could have the ability to have trailers in this game. Caravans being pulled by cars, big rigs with a nice payload on the back.

(Not attached to everything. Just the ones they're made for)

Free roam?

With the way games have progressed over the years, do you believe the new Carmageddon should still be limited to levels?

Don't get me wrong, a lot of them were classics, and you'd still have to work in the various themes and such, but there's been a lot of success found in "free roam" modes...

Full car customisation.

I don't think you need to rule car customisation completely.
Don't get me wrong, the cars are iconic, and still need to retain their vibe. Though you could have 3 or 4 different offensive styles to their existing weaponry. The eagle could have a solid blade all the way across the roof instead of...

Indeed.

It's worth noting that the CWA has years worth of posts covering issues in C1 and C2 (and TDR on a limited basis) so if you're having issues with something, pop over and search the archives ^_^

For those who are still getting the timer, try clearing your cache.

(Or as a simple fix, it had cached carmageddon.com for me, so I went to www.carmageddon.com and that worked fine)

Big Dump looks awesome.

I assume that's screwie lewie on the right?

Vlad in the top left?

Would that be the Hawk or Eagle at the bottom?

I like how every handbrake turn looks exactly the same... I wouldn't be too surprised if you could change the camera angle with a quick tweak. Not sure what the graphics would be like down low, of course
