Re: Zil screw drive

If you have a seam in the UV map it splits the verts on the actual model, creating the same effect as a smoothing group seam. It looks like it's either being caused by that, or an actual smoothing group seam.

I'll think twice next time before i decide to pack up a release at 2am in the morning! Glad you dudes dig it, was fu...

Texturing takes aaaagesssss. I finished the model and the ingame rig while i was taking a break from it. Added 7 flaps, 4 groovy bits, 7 smashables, a bazillion detachables, that working suspension whatzit, all that jazz.. it's all workin'. Now i can finish the textures without worrying about anythi...

Bollocks, TTR - She's gonna be riding on dog dishes and whitewalls just like TTR posted. I had that mental image in my head right from the beginning  Soup- that's a good point, this one is quite postapocalyptic now that you mention it. I'll remove the blood and shit for a standard release too...

Nice one razor. You could maybe add a few more edge loops to the track section to make it a smoother ride.

Re: Clutch released in North America soon!

<t>i grabbed it, but i dont rate it much. It was fun immediately when you slam down some peds and they grab on for dear life, but as soon as that novelty wore off the arcade physics and crappy damage model took their toll, and i turned it off/deleted it.<br/> <br/> Good 30 mins of distraction though...

Carrying on from the pics posted in the eagle thread, i figured it best to start a new thread for this beast. Re: finally!

<r>Yeah i changed it up to be a bit more realistic to the layout of the car. If you slam the front end too many times you lose the steering not the engine cause after all, the engine is in the back safe and sound but the front end is basically just a rollbar and an axle. The red version is quite fra...

Re: Eagle 1 redux?!?

<r>The eagle is quite conservative in comparison to the hearse, i think it weighs in at around 7000 polys (or more importantly, 8000 verts). At the moment the hearse is already at 10,000 polys /11,000 verts and it's going to get higher. Its pretty optimised, it's all just spent on details. I do try ...
