Pitbull from C1 Movie

Post by random_monkey »

I've just been speaking to Tony, and he's been having problems with the CWA board and he can't post currently, so I'm posting this for him.

He's wondering if any of you 'C1 owning people' might be able to grab a couple of screenies of the pitbull in the c1 movie for him.

Cheers

i can take some picks... but i think there are better picks of the pitbull somewhere else on this forum... in th older threads... and it was about TDR

...and a little extra shot from something you actually never get to see in the game! :supercrazy:

Heh, the same thing happened to the license plate in "Back to the future I"-movie, but it read "OUTATIME" instead. Movie references are always interesting.

Have you converted to the movies into AVIs too, Econo? (Grabbing screenies is more difficult without converting)

i always thought someone would mod the pitbull so it actually looked like it does in the intro movie

duno just seem'd obviouse, not a request btw, i know you guys hate that  just saying

and i always wanted to change the guys Voice in the intro, it was always a bit to goofy for my likeing...it should be like the Terminator 2 voice overs, kinda deep and seriouse imo.

heh! I know it's a BTTF refrence (that's why i included it) it even has fire tracks on the road but i wasn't able to capture that.

The pics were taken in a player made for 256color dos movie files. That's how i got to see the 'extra' movie! I believe it was going to be used for if you died....but that can't even happen in the game!

A big "thank you" for you, Econobrick, thanks.

Yep, I always thought so too, Grind_and_Click, but I havn't seen one yet. I Know about an updated Towmeister for C2. Hey, now I remember that I Have seen a picture of a model around here, looking like the Towmesiter from the intro. Was just a picture..

I had a dream for not so long ago. I want that dream to be a reality. If it include me doing that model, then like that it shall be! I just want it to play around with, it looks so cool.. hehe

Anyone who want to give me a hand? You are all welcome to do so!

Damn that was a great game, I could play it for years without needing custom cars and the atmosphere, so gloomy excellent.

C2 was good and all, but I didn't like the cars, and the bright atmosphere.

For Econobrick:

Hey, you could try Rad Game Tools: it can convert the .SMK movie files of C1 & C2 into AVIs, it even lets you select a compressor if you wish! (DivX for example) There's some other options as well.

I believe it was going to be used for if you died....but that can't even happen in the game!
Actually I've seen that movie in the game too! You can see it if your account is negative after you have finished a race: if you have to recover or repair too often, and end up something like -9000 credits in the end, it shows you the movie... and it's *game over*.

But I don't know if the game sells your APO before game over...

Probably you're too good to get "Game over".

Anyways, I checked: the name was Rad Video Tools, not Rad Game Tools. The latest version is here, if you want it.

I believe Hellspawn was modeling the Pitbull from the movie/renders. No idea what happened though.

Hellboy is involved refurbishing his 59 chevy(I think it is a 59) and hasnt done much of anything any longer for Carma stuff....

I keep coming to this thread expecting to see a pic of someone starting this thing...... I mean, don't let the concept that Hellspawn might have started one 2 years ago stop you from making your dream come true.....

Heh... Do it... Or I will, cos it really is cool looking...

I was supposed to start it, but I havn't really had time to do it yet. I had a dream about the whole gig too. So, if nobody else, I'll do it! Hehe, don't care whom, I'll just want it also!

Will begin tomorrow with it, if none of you have anything to get my mind on other stuff maybe?

Okay. I see that the wheels dont fit to well to the rest of the car. They look a bit small. And i have a strange feeling that it looks like a toy car  The front umm...plough is too big, but it looks cool  Its only my opinion, so dont take it too much serious. Im really looking forward to this  It looks very good, considering that theres not much pics.

Yeah, I think the wheels will just be temporary, so it look nice for now. Haha! A friend called it also a "toy car", and "teletubbie car". Need to kick his ass later!

I'm sitting here and guessing like hell! Don't have more pictures then that one above, those 6 small pictures. the plow is changed. Saw that it was a bit to big. Check out the latest:
