Fiat 500
Hello everyone! well here it is a shiny new Fiat 500 to smash.
I like to say thanks to Tosh, yes I sent him the file before I released it so he could check it. And he is a man of his word and he helped and advised me, Some people think that maybe I have a problem with being told that my cars were not finished. Well, they were not, and it was only Tosh who told me.
It is as if you go to a friends house and he or she cooks you something that is disgusting, but out of politeness you say it was delicious, so everytime you go there in the future they will cook you that same dish because they think you like it. Basically what Iam trying to say is feedback whether it is good or bad is useful.
Now go and smash up that bloody Fiat.

Re: Fiat 500
Nice move with the texture resizing
This little car actually reminds me of this post.
This could be a very good start for a mod/skin contest. Even though it's using env map all over the car.
Or at least it could motivate some people here to try some ideas and show it off.
This car was a good choice.
Keep it up Pip.

Hehe, neat, you're gonna release the Wideboy's version as well? Will there be some stock version too?

Re: Fiat 500
heh, nice work pip. I'm not so fond of the rust and dirt on the texture to be honest. You see the streched texture there on the wheelcaps? That is where it starts to look weird. And the bloodspatters/rust is too present. I would add this only on specific places, for instance around the wheelcaps or around the front bumper. You allready did this in some way, but i would localize the blood, rust and dirt even more.
The model looks great. Will there be a top-body part of the ped sticking through the window, or is he really cut in half?
Good to see some activity here again! Very motivating for the whole community I think!

Re: Fiat 500
Hi, okay some answers to your questions Soupa and Razor: okay at the moment there will be no Wideboy or stock version as I have some other ideas, if someone would like to do a wideboy version or stock version then please go ahead. I will give you permission to use this model.
Harm: The guy is cut in half and only his legs are left Iam afraid I have done some changes to the textures but not a great deal.
anyway here is the latest pic

I can see what you're going for... sort of like how in the old days doctors had completely blood stained smocks. Maybe a good way to approach this is to make the "background" blood look old and dried (I would say, darker) and the newer stuff can be brighter and more shiny and wet.
The leg is detachable?

EXAMPLE
Quick stuff I put together.
Complete nonsense and somehow funny I guess.
Just to remind you guys what can be achieved as mods/skins with C2 addons.

Re: Fiat 500
Hi, that is just great Tosh. Now, who else is going to have a go?
Okay here are some more pics of Smachine, I have played around with the blood at the front just putting lighter blood here and there, but Iam not sure about it!
The car has quite a few detachables including those legs, and those fenders and front also detach.:)
Bye for now

Hiya Pip,
It looks a little better with the blood like that, so maybe something in between?
The grill is unusually transparent!
All in all it looks great, nice skinning.
